This Very Rare, Clegg Apollo 6 (Squires-Sanders) 6 Meter Linear Amplifier, is in Beautiful Condition.
This amplifier came from a very large Collection, and I am selling it as is, as described for the family of the silent key.
This unit looks clean inside and out. The chassis is in excellent condition with no spots or corrosion.
The cabinet has been professionally stripped and repainted with a baked on enamel finish which shines like new with no marks or scratches.
This unit is reported to be working. I powered it up and it appears to be working as the HV came on, but I did not load it up. It has all the original electrolytic capacitors and they really should be changed before it is put back into operation.
The only modification I can see is someone replaced the RCA input jack with an SO-239 to make it easier to hook up to the transceiver.
I also have the matching Venus transceiver in another listing which has also had the cabinet professionally repainted the same as this amplifier and is also in collector quality condition.
I have included it in last picture next to the matching Clegg Apollo 6 amplifier but it is not included with the Apollo. It is being sold separately in another listing.
