This Collins 32S-1 is in Good cosmetic condition. It is Serial # 795.
The cabinet has the original paint and finish. It has been modified on the rear panel to provide better cooling and a muffin fan can be added if desired.
The cabinet has some spots that have been touched up. There are no bad dents or dings. It does not look like it has been banged around and the few spots where the paint has come off was likely due to the factory preparation and not from rough treatment.
The front panel looks clean and in great shape.
I checked this radio on my bench and it appears to be working as it should with no apparent problems.
As with any vintage gear it may benefit with an alignment, and tube replacement, and if it is to be used on a regular basis, the electrolytic capacitors should be changed.
I offer a capacitor replacement kit on this website and will provide one at a discount (my cost) to the buyer of this fine transmitter.
This Transmitter requires a 516F-2 AC power supply which is not included. Please check my other listings for a power supply.
I am selling this Transmitter as is as described for the family of a silent key.
